Personal Details.

It is your responsibility to give The Sweet Tree the correct delivery address, post code and telephone number. We cannot be responsible if this is not correctly provided.

Payment.

A £50 non refundable deposit is required to secure your date when booking your sweet buffet. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event. If any payment has not been received by the agreed date, we will charge interest on the outstanding balance until the payment has cleared. The rate is 8% (per annum) above the base rate of The Bank of England. Payment can be made by cheque or cash.

Delivery.

Sweet Buffet - Delivery and set up is free of charge within a 25 mile radius of our leaving point Rayleigh Essex. Each additional mile will be charged at 50p per mile. Sweet Trees - The Sweet Tree will not be responsible for any breakages when sent by courier. We ensure all of our products are very well and securely packed. All of our posted items are sent via a trackable service.

Breakages Deposit.

A £50 breakages deposit is required when paying the remaining balance 2 weeks before the event. This will be returnable up to 2 weeks after the event once all hired items have been returned and all is present and correct with no breakages, damages or items missing. When hiring from The Sweet Tree you will agree to make all reasonable effort to ensure that the items provided are not damaged or misused during the period of hire. You shall not dispose of any returnable items and you shall reimbursed The Sweet Tree for all costs in connection with replacing the items that are not returned in good condition. Any damaging exceeding the cost of £50 will be fully charged along with any additional replacement or repair cost to the person who made the booking. - This applies to Sweet buffets only.

Food Allergies.

We purchase sweets from many manufacturers; therefore we are unable to assure you that these products will not have traces of nuts. Please bare this in mind if you suffer from any food allergies.

Safety.

Some sweets are very small and some accessories displayed on the table are not edible. We also use cocktail sticks in the making of our sweet trees therefore we advise that children are supervised when choosing and consuming any sweets from our sweet buffet. The Sweet Tree cannot be held responsible for any incidents involving any item from our sweet table. For example, choking or allergic reaction.

Set up and Take down of the Sweet Buffet.

If there are restrictions regarding the set up of the Sweet Buffet we will set up in the most appropriate place. Your Sweet Buffet will be available for your guests from the time agreed for 4 hours. If you require your Sweet Buffet for longer a fixed price of £10 per hour will be charged. At the end of your event or the time agreed the Sweet Buffet will be taken down and any sweets left over are yours to keep and will be transferred into plastic ware.

Cancellation.

If your event is cancelled the following fees will incur
Less than 8 weeks prior to event: 10% will be charged
Less than 4 weeks prior to event: 50% will be charged
Less than 7 days prior to event: 100% will be charged
